
About Jeremy
Jeremy was born in the small town of St.Paul, Alberta. He was raised right here in Edmonton and has been surrounded by the real estate industry since he learned to walk and talk. Watching and observing both his father and grandfather, along with their peers caused Jeremy to develop a passion for Real Estate long before he began his career. Jeremy obtained his licence and began his career in August of 2007. This was at the very end of a real estate boom in Edmonton and the first month where sales began to plummet. There were a record high number of homes on the market and record low sales since the 1980's and as literally hundreds of experienced agents who were overwhelmed with the new change in the market were leaving the profession, he knew he would need to learn the industry and how to sell homes fast if he wanted to succeed. And he did just that! Jeremy started in a large office of 100+ realtors @ Century 21 and in his first year was one of the top 5 agents in his office and achieved the Canadian Centurion Award, along with outstanding achievements awards consecutively each quarter.
As the market turned back around, Jeremy's sales began to soar. The systems he developed to sell homes in tough markets proved to work incredibly well in strong markets as well! In 2009, he was awarded the Medallion award from the Edmonton Real Estate Board for top 5% of MLS sales. Shortly after, he was recruited by Western Canada's #1 Re/Max office and almost instantly gained respect as a top agent there as well!
Jeremy's goal, from the day he was licensed, was "not to become the biggest, but to become the best". And how would he achieve that? The first step is the never-ending process of education. While the average agents learns from the next average agent, therefore producing average results, Jeremy employed the best coaching program in the world to work with him along with a network of top producing agents across North America to continuously develop new systems and stay ahead of the rest of the industry. In addition, he has an extensive itinerary filled with seminars, courses and books on marketing, negotiations, personal relations and other topics related to producing the best results for each and every client.
So the true key to becoming the best without focusing on becoming the biggest, is this; "Always work for your client's needs above your own. Earn their trust and produce the best results each and every time. Align your values with your actions and success will follow. After implementing that, all I needed to do was focus on the clients I have, rather than getting new clients. Do your best for them and they'll be excited to tell their friends and family to hire my team for their real estate endeavours" So in other words, my philosophy is this; There is no substitute for truly caring.
On a personal note, when Jeremy is not selling homes, you'll find him spending time with his wife Avarey, his son Owen and 2 dogs, Diesel and Bentley. His passions are:
-Fishing/camping: the best thing in the world to unwind and get back in touch with nature!
-Animals: Jeremy is a huge animal lover and if his wife would allow it, he would adopt the equivalent of a zoo!
-Personal development and human psychology: I believe that life can always be better and more simple than what most people create for themselves and I spend hours upon hours each week to figure out how to achieve that.
